You’ll start earlier and spend more time (seven out of eight semesters) observing and teaching in real classrooms than students in other college programs. Heidelberg education majors have over 160 hours in a classroom before they start student-teaching. During these experiences you’ll plan and teach lessons under the guidance of a mentor or teacher in real classroom conditions to develop your knowledge, skills, and dispositions in preparation for student teaching.
